This probably needs posted in another thread but heck I'm old is my excuse! This is the buck she shot last year during MZ season we found it the next day! Her's is the one on the right next to the first deer I killed back in 1978 so there is 30 years difference in the 2! Its her second one on the wall and I am still one up but dang she is closing the gap fast!:smack:
Cool...also cool to see how much better than can make them look nowdays. I know yours is very old but the facial features on hers look a lot more realistic. I would be happy with either one.:thumb:
That's a heck of a 5 or 6 point (can't tell which) you've got there. I'm impressed with your taxidermist considering the age of the mount. It's held up well. I love how modern forms have given mounts more life like positions and posture.
I've been hunting close to 20 something years, yet my wife who's only been hunting for the past 5 years, killed a buck bigger than any I ever have. But I wouldn't have it any other way. That's why we go, for the experiences and that chance at a good one.
