Bought a Savage 22-250 today and a Nikon Prostaff 4x12 with BDC Reticle. Looking for a good bipod to put on it. Are most bipods universal or do I have to get one specifically for my rifle?

Most are universal, Harris are hard to beat

Had the long set of the Harris bipods on my last rifle. Added a lot of weight. If you are planning on doing a lot of walking with the gun, it might be something to consider.

The 27" aint quite long enough for shooting from a sitting position. I wish they were but there not.

Ive tried everything. None are perfect, but the one I like is the EvoPod2 at Academy. They are cheap too. They are the best Ive found.
