    This past weekend I heard one gobble several times. It was all I could do to stay in my stand! I've heard em in the fall before, but not like this. Heck, they'll be gobbled out by January!!! :dontknow:

    With these temps the last few days they may think its march already.

    Heard one gobble 8 or 9 times one evening last weekend then again the next morning a couple of times. I also saw a jake strutting.

    I heard one hammering one morning in January several years ago while duck hunting. It was 20 something degrees that morning.

    Sometimes they just gobble cuz they can.
