Don't know if the freeze got your acorns or not but it did up here. We didn't have white oak this year and next year there won't be many red oak as they produce every other year. So really don't know bout the squirrels and where they might be. Good luck to ya hope you find a honey hole full of them !

  3. Man I have them all over the place around the house. If you lived closer I'd let you get all you want!!!!!!!

I've done pretty good in a pine forest. Seems they switched from acorns to pine cones.
Shot three off the same branch in five minutes last time I went.
Try finding you some cuttings under a pine tree you might turn up with a few.

Pretty much all the squirrels we've been killing with the dogs lately have been in thickets. Sure makes them harder to hunt though.
