I planted a food plot of a mixed, oat, wheat, clover last summer. I've read where you should mow/cut it back in the spring sometime so it will reseed and the clover will come up in the spring. My question, when do I need to mow it back? Thanks guys! :thumb:

You need to mow it before your weeds have a chance to go to seed. You will probably have to mow it several times from spring through late summer. You weeds will be set back and the clover should thicken. DOn't mow it too low, usually 6-8 inches or so. Just take off the tops of the clover.

Pretty much what one of the Biologic guys told me, when it puts a blum on cut just low enough to get them and that will scatter the seed. :thumb:
