I have never used a pull behind disc for a 4-wheeler, but i am not sure how well one would do on new ground thats never been disced before? I have seen one used on a ground that was easy to break and it did a could job, but would be worried about new ground.
We always plant ours by hand with a 5 gallon bucket in one and slinging seed with the other. Its more work this way, but our plots are always thicker than those who use spreaders.
But spraying it a few times is the first thing to do be done like CJ says
