what kit are you using?

No kit flat black rustoleum and model turf from hobby lobby. It comes in different size flakes I used the fine its the same stuff you buy online nylon flock. Basically clean, paint and apply with a puffer bottle.

Beautiful job, makes all the difference with wary late season ducks. is it flat black rustoleum in a spray can, tape off the white and yellow, cover the eyes,and puff on the flock while paint is wet

Basically yes except I bought the flat black in a quart . Also puff over a container because you will be able to reuse what falls off
