Now I must say in my driving rig I keep a pair of Maui Jim’s. They are great but when I’m wade fishing i like the ones with the cheaters so I don’t have to swap when tying a knot.I’m a sunglasses snob. I wear cheap clothes but I like good sunglasses. My wife bought me some 580g costas 6 years ago. The glass doesn’t scratch. The ear pieces finally came off last year so I sent them in. They sent me a new pair free of charge. The glasses were 250$ new but I’ve had them( incl the replacements) for 6 years and still going strong.
100% agree. I have them in every vehicle. The Ozark Trail polarized glasses that I wear only cost $4.97. I have about ten pair scattered around.
At that price it doesn’t hurt very bad when they fall off in the water or get stepped on or sat on or lost like always happened when I used to wear Oakleys.
When you Run with team Larry Nixon you can run that high Dollar equipment...Lol 😂😆The first time I took my SIL to Lake Fork in March to bed fish I told him to be sure and bring a "Good" pair of polarized sunglasses. He showed up with a pair of Bill Dance's from Wally World. The first day we fished I kept telling him to throw by this stump or that bed or at that fish and he kept not seeing what I was pointing out to him. Finally, I handed him my Hobies and he was stunned at the difference in what he could see. As soon as we got back to the dock he went to the bait shop and gave a premium price for a set of Costas or Oakleys, don't remember which it's been nearly 30 years ago. He said he didn't care what they cost, he was having a "Good" pair of glasses.
We also went through this same routine with fishing rods, his $30 Berkley Lightning vs my Team Daiwas, on the same trip.
Somethings just can't be explained to some folks, you just gotta show'em.
That's where it all came from back then, his extras and cast offs or this broke dairy farmer would've been in Bill Dance's, too. When you Run with team Larry Nixon you can run that high Dollar equipment...Lol 😂😆
