Anyone out there building structure on their favorite lakes? I have been putting in brushpiles , wooden pallets, and stake beds for last several years. That has really paid off for us Crappie fishing here. Ever year ,mostly when it's slow we build new and refresh our best spots. Yesterday I haulded down 22 hardwood pallets and have 7 Persimmon tops in the yard ready to go.
These structures are well know for holding Crappie. But Bass and Catfish seem to use them a lot also. Our best baited Catfish holes last year we over stake and pallet beds.:thumb:

People in Bella Vista donate their used Christmas Trees and the POA ties them to Blocks and puts them in the lakes. It is up to us to get out there and find them. Once our new fisheries guy starts fertilizing again we should be in pretty good shape.

i have been wanting to sink some bamboo but just have not gotten around to doing it.

We have sunk some Christmas trees around the camp at Lake Bruin.
