We're going to Greer's Ferry Lake this weekend and we haven't got the fishing thing down just yet. :smack: Does anyone have any ideas on where the jackpot is, and what baits are best to use? We will be around Lacy's Narrows Marina. To catch any kind of fish in that lake would be nice! Thanks for the tips! :biggrin:

I hear that some of the fish are moving shallow. I would fish topwaters early and late on mainlake points, dont be afraid to fish the topwater way of the point, and always keep your eyes peeled for schooling. Point seven is always good for a fish or 2 early. If you find some fish on a couple of points come back to them later and throw a football jig or c-rig at em and you should be able to pick a couple more off. If there isnt any wind try a shakey head also. If you find the fish to be shallow you might try running up the rivers and throw some small spinnerbaits and cranks. :up:

If you have the equipment to troll small to medium size crank baits that will go down about 10 ft in depth over water that is about 30 feet deep you might b able to find some some nice crappie. Good luck! :thumb:
