What’s a good one that’s able to be hooked to the live scope at a later date if you wanted to?

I’ve never had a depth/fish finder so I want to get a good one and if later I decide to add the sonar part I can.

I am totally lost in this crap.

It will need to be a Garmin and it must be compatible with livescope. If you go to garmin's website you can see which units are compatible. The smallest screen I would go with is 9". I really like my 93sv.

    X2. I’d go 93sv. Make sure it’s a plus unit.

I just bought and installed an Echomap UHD 93. It is Livescope compatible. It is easy to navigate and seems to work good, shows pretty images even running fast. I just need to learn to use it. The older units I have had displayed images that looked like a kid built something with leggos. This is a big improvement.

93sv are great, but I have two 73sv's and they are more than adequate, even for my old eyes. I'd LIKE to have 93, but the 7 inches is very functional, front and back. Get the 93 if you can.

There’s a lot of difference between the 73 and the 93 when scoping.

What are the major differences OFD? I'm ignorant about these things but need to learn.

I opened this thread to this random post and thought it was about putting a scope on a Winchester 73 versus a Savage 93. What madness is Jackie into now?

I know it doesn’t seem like it would, but that 2” of screen makes such a huge difference in seeing detail and picking out fish. That’s just my opinion, others may not agree, but I say that the 93 is absolutely worth the extra money.

The 93sv+ was discontinued and replaced with the 93sv UHD.........And as others have said get the biggest screen you can fit into the budget!

I've had a ton come back and buy bigger screens......Not a single one has came back and wanted to down size.
