I took a 45 yard shot at this doe a few days ago at about 5:10 pm. Didn't find her that evening but went out the following morning and spotted her about 70 yards from where I shot her. Had to lasso her to get her out of the lake that's by the stand I was hunting from.

Do you have to have a fishing and hunting license for that?

    Nice job on the recovery.

Ha! Thankfully my hunting lease includes fishing on this lake or I might have had to pay an extra fee.

That's crazy. I had one jump in the lake before and swim a small section of cove. She made it and then died after running up the incline of the bank before she got to the timber.

  15. My wife had one run into a lake this year on Oct 2nd. I had to go home and get my bow fishing bow to get it out. It was stuck in the mud about 5 ft under. Congrats on the recovery. It SUCKS when they run into the water. Congrats on the kill as well.
