First coon

Now then My boy is 9 and last year he said he wanted some coon dogs, he wanted english dogs but could not find any i could aford ! I got a hold of robert dean And i got 2 walker pups form him and my boy worked with these dogs every day all summer and fall. They have been trailing some and finaly they got one treed and tonight and matthew my son is beside him self and i let him shoot it out on them and the fight was one i am so proud of him and the dogs !

That is awesome. My sons female just treed her first coon by her self last saturday. We took her and my cuz pup both bout 7 months old and they spilt treed and both had a coon! CONGRATS to your boy! Now he knows all that hard work does pay off!

Congrats nothing like watching a young hound go from a know nothing pup to a good hound. Sounds like they got the right start, and to top it off your son put in the work and can see how fun and rewarding training a hound can be. Again congrats sounds like both your boy and pups have got off to a good start.

Yep he would go every night if i let him i work 4 nights a week so 3 nights a week we will be out there. last night them dogs did some thing else i will not for get the nabors cows were out and they started coming toward use and the dogs would not let them any were near use they never chased them they just bayed them and i shot and the cows rain off and the dogs came right back !

you got that right splittteedinAR robert is the man to contact if you wont to buy a coon dog i have bought alot of dogs from robert and don't even try them and they will be just like robert says i'v got him looking for me a treeing walker male dog that is already treeing his own coon and not trashy he said today he had not found anything to fit the bill yet
