This only hunting the weekends seems to get harder each year. B/C of a house remodel I didn't get to start hunting until the weekend of Halloween. Opening day of rifle season was good. I passed two legal bucks, hoping for something more mature, but as it goes they never showed. Ever since then it has been a spike and 4 pt parade. I never seen so many small bucks in my life. I've learned over the past few yrs that when this happens I need to adjust my spot. I moved to the complete other side of the cuter and climbed up. At 5 pm this guy stepped out. First mature buck I've seen all season. Stick with it guys. God is good.
