what a joke !
I lived in Glenwood Springs in 1993. You can fish for trout, or trout and there is a season best I remember.
In Mtn Home you can fish your choice of 2 big lakes for bas, crappie, stripers, catfish, walleye - you name it, year round. Or you can fish the White or Norfork rivers for trout. Or you can fish/float a national park river in the Buffalo and have some great times.
Mtn Home offers what few other places in the country does. Glenwood Springs ? Who wrote that article anyway !
