Have any of yal tried the earth scent skeeter dope repel makes or whoever makes it?

I have used it for years. When I smell it, I always think of early bow season. I keep a small bottle in my hunting backpack that 60% deet. It works for skeeters.

The Repel earth scent is only 25% deet.

That's impossible, because DEET STINKS!! Just like supposed "cover scents" like earth scent, they don't cover anything. They only add another odor. Thermacells stink too, BUT, the smell is generated with heat and heat rises until it cools to the ambient air temperature, a good thing in the woods! The second thing is that you're not putting anything toxic on yourself, and anything else. As has been reported before, DEET will melt the finish on your gun, the dashboard/steering wheel or anything plastic in your ride, and...... Well...... Anything ELSE made from plastic! No thank you!:smack:

Given the sensitivity of a deer's nose, I have a hard time believing they wouldn't be able to tell the difference between dirt and dirt scented deet. I prefer to spray my clothes the night before with permethrin and used my thermacell.
