Its a Rudy. We have killed a lot of them this year up here on beaver. It took me a while to ID it because they say we should not see them around here. And they sure do taste good!
Duck ID
I have a duck thats been landing on my pond the last week or so and I dont know what it is. Its a brown colored duck that is between the size of a mallard and wood duck. Its really a plain duck except for its bill. Its black with a blue streak across it way up toward its face. It flies really fast and really close to the water. Have any ideas what it is? Thanks
