At Stud: F.C. Gilkey's Post Oak "Caesar" (Sire: F.C.Postoak Little Nip Otis and Dam: F.C. Gilkey's Hill Top Freckles)
Height: 12 1/4"
He is a good looking Beagle. Hard hunter and he can run a rabbit with line control and he is the anchor of a pack. His breeding goes back to the all time Hall of Fame Great Certified Hunting Beagle Chapman's Buzz Bomb. Some of the great producing females, offspring of Buzz Bomb have hooked up with solid line breeding to Hall of Fame Rob's Diamond (3crosses) and F.C. Greenwood's Blue Creek Bear. Blue Creek Bear is a cross of F.C. Piney Creek Bear and a F.C. Brown's L A Black Bob. "Caesar" can handle the fast one's by lining up behind them and his quickness allows him to pull the check, where the rabbit turns, out and leave those front runners hanging over the end of the line. The hard slashing, end around, head knocking front runners don't get to rough for Post Oak Caesar. He will clean their plow on checks and find the hard loss that they cause before it becomes a loss. Stud Fee $200. and a current Negative Brucellosis Test are required.
