The alpha 200i are real nice. I don’t own one but went with a buddy a few times that has it. It has some better features than the 100

So the Garmin 100 controllers run about $400 & the 200i $760 but either requires a gps collar which runs about $400 but the controllers can run multiple dogs/collars??? Saw some collars that say they can run with a smartphone app on cellular link. Not sure how that would work with poor rural cell coverage (Verizon). Range really 9 miles?

I’ve had all the garmin models other than the 200. I wouldn’t trade the dogtra pathfinder for a pair of new garmins.

I have had all the Garmin systems and I like the 100 but not the touch screen on it. My favorite has been the astro 320 or 430 with the t5 collars for tracking only.

I have the Garmin 100 controller and two tt15 mini collars for my squirrel dogs. System works great. Signals when treed and you can see distance and direction to each dog. Full training features with tone/shock as well.
