http://I made this plaque for my antlers from last year.
Good job :thumb:
Nice. I was gonna try to make my own also but never could come up with anything to cover the base. What did you use?
I went to hobby lobby and bought some suede leather scrap peices for 3 bucks. Here is one that i stained and clearcoated.http://
Those are very nice. I made one for a young man in Texas, cut out the State on wood and then bought a can of Spray paint that when it drys it has the color and texture of stone. Made a real nice Plaque, I mounted it on 2 horse shoes as the base and welded a 1/4" flatstock to the shoes connecting the Plaque at the back for a Pedestal Mount. John
Here is one I did of a buck I killed. I wanted a table top display so came of with this.
My son would live that broadhead sticking outta there but hate the stitches!!! lol
haha. :thumb: Its not sharp. I took sandpaper to it and the blades are now duller than a butter knife and the point duller than a ball point pen. haha Its the head I killed that deer with so thought it was cool to save it. :thumb:
That is a cool display. What did you use to fill that box?
never thought of shaping one like an arrowhead , pretty neat
Nice idea. I have been fortunate enough to have a father in law that is pretty good with wood and he makes plaques shaped like the outline of the state where I shot the deer for me. So far I have TX, NM, AR, CO, WY so just 45 more to go.
How to do you tell apart the ones from NM, CO, and WY?
Nice job on the plaque knighten! Nice buck too!!
cool plague.
Filled it with concrete.
I have always thought that would be a cool idea. I'm glad that someone is actually doing it.
I like the arrow head plaques. Here is one that I did.
