Anyone familiar with this call?
My neighbor gave it to me. It has the name "Chris Davis" engraved on the band.
What kind of wood is this?
What is the value?

Looks like bois darc to me. A Chick Majors Dixie mallard would be fairly valuable. I can't tell if that is what you have from the small picture on my phone. My grandad has one and he won't let me get out of the room with it before it goes
back in the box.

Chris Davis is engraved on one side of the band and a duck is engraved on the other side of the band.

The call is new, never been tuned "till now". I do not have the box. My neighbor works in the automotive insurance industry and got the call out of a wrecked car.

Those calls are sold new about $100. That is not an original. It is one made by chicks son in law.
