Got a couple of squirrels this morning. One might be called a Blonde I guess? Got pics but can't get them to upload from photobucket.

Never seen one like that....I'd mount it for sure!

I doubt that I would have it mounted. However I would offer it to the AG&F Commission if they wanted it. :thumb:

Why would you offer it to AG&F? Just wandering
I would definately get that dude stuffed
Mount it :thumb: I killed an albino w/pink eyes several years ago and let a buddy mount it, being he wanted a fox, grey, albino, and black squirrel all mounted on a limb. Made for a good mount  I also saw an albino/black mixed several years ago in AL during deer season, still wishing I would have killed it.
Just curious why you wouldn't mount it? It's a trophy for sure :thumb:
I would probably have it mounted. I've seen raccoons that were similar in color that were mounted and they sure made for a different and unusual mount.
The main reason to get it stuffed is because it's most likely the only one you'll ever see....I've never seen one....I had a blonde mink in my trap once and when I tried to knock him in the head...he got out and I never saw him again...that still hurts!
He's at the taxidermist now, Going to have him mounted climbing up a piece of drift wood.

They might want it for one of their education exhibits. :thumb:

That is a cool looking tree-rat!!! Glad you're getting it immortalized!!!

The 2 guys working there had never seen a blonde one, but had seen black, and white ones before( no, not skunks):fit:. He thought it might turn out even lighter after it was washed or what ever they do to them.

So that confirms how rare it is...I've never heard of anyone ever taking one like that. Be interesting to find out though if you have the only one!
