    Never seen this before.
Deer with no tail at all.
It doesn't appear to have been
shot off, just looks like it
    never had a tail.
Has anyone else ever seen a deer with no tail ?

Yes sir! I have one on camera for the last 2 years that has a "bobbed" tail. We call him Bob. He is subject to be shot if he shows up in front of us next week!

I have a button buck with a very short tail on my lease. I had to do a double take when I first saw him. Sorry, no pics though.

It's just a very hard working buck who'd worked his tail off.

I saw a buck killed in KS a couple weeks ago that his tail may have been 2 inches. Never seen one other than that tho. Until now.

Doe I shot earlier this year had about a 2" tail on her seemed like it was natural just figured its a genetic trait of some sort. Meat ate just the same
