Welcome to the site.
Now, I want everyone on here to know that if you kill a deer and only want the backstraps, call me I will take the rest. Tell your friends also.

I ain't been able to hunt but a couple times this year. Starving to put any deer meat in my freezer!

What always gets me is the number of people that throw the shoulders away. I understand they arent as desirable as the hams, but they grind up just fine. Ive had some shoulder roast that are dern good if cooked right. Thats my 2 cents.

It pisses me off too...I was walking out of Wattensaw, Robinwood area, yesterday morning and saw a doe that had been shot the day before. The yote's had gotten to her some but I could see the person who shot her made a double lung hit and she couldnt have ran far at all. Not sure why she wasnt in the back of who ever shot hers truck other than them just being plum lazy or not looking for her at all.

You'd be amazed at the idiots in the woods who think if it didn't drop in it's tracks then they missed! A few years ago a guy I had meet at the country store said he had "missed" a buck that morning and didn't no how since his scope was dead on. I convinced him to go back out and show me where he "missed". I walked about 20ft from where he said the deer was standing and found all kinds of blood and lung tissue. We ( I ) blood tracked the deer for about 40 yards and surprise , surprise there was a dead 8 point buck at the end of the trail. I helped the embearest hunter field dress and drag out the deer. Come to find out this was his first deer and he actually had no idea of what to do after the shot. He did offer part of the deer for helping him out.
