Deer sticks like jerky

Anybody make this in Arkansas. Pieces about the size of little finger and about 8" long. I'm not talking about dried jerky. These are meaty sticks. Thanks rick

i made some last year and it was really good.
Yes some mininites or however they say that near hardy I'll get the info if u want
Kempfs in Pocahontas makes 'em. There's a place in Paragould that makes 'em too.
Lou's meat market in Pottsville also makes them.

Riggan's and Sons in Sheridan does it they call it "slim jimming" and it's pretty good stuff. I had an entire doe made into it at $12.00/lb saved me a lot of money I would've spent on Jack Links!

Thanks for the reply's. I live in Maumelle and Hoggs and Tommy's make good summer sausage but need something different.

Yep, they are very good, he will do hot and mild. I got them for the first time this year, I snack on em all the time.
