Looks like goat sign to me. There used to be some feral goats living on a bluff over the Fourche LaFave River downstream from Nimrod Lake dam.

This is about 5 -6 miles south (stright line)of goats bulff ,but across two rivers.

Goats Bluff, the one near Fourche Junction, is ( private and posted land)

I thought these had been killed out but you never know.

What else is game and fish gonna stock in this state? Elk, mountain lions, wolves Sasquatch's, and now mountain goats?

On a serious note I would hunt it and see what shows up.

With that much crap around whatever it is hanging out a lot there. Look real close at the ground. You should be able to find some shed hair that might shed some light on the identity of the critter.

That s the one I was talking bout. My granddad had a cabin over the mountain on Harris Creek on that place. Roamed all over that place hunting and fishing as a kid. Haven't seen Don in years, anyone know if he is still with us?

Yes, "Fluke" also know as the Nimrod Mayor is doing good , still hunting.
He did have Heart Surgery a few years ago, but seems to have had a full recovery, looks good to for his age.

I also spent many days fishing the "blue hole" there behind flukes place.

There was a bunch of yahoo's letting goats and sheep loose on Mt. Magazine at one time. They go feral super fast and guys were hunting them for sport...
