Lemme see now....there's monday.....then tuesday, and uh...oh yeah, wednesday and thursday......and TGIFday, and on the weekends! That is till I tag out, then the rest of the time I hunt for hog meat!
John you must be ones of those lucky ones who hunt within sight of your house, or you don't have to work anymore, either way, your one lucky dog.

Either that or both....and I live in the jungle!:fit::biggrin:
30 plus days for me. I do seasonal work that frees me up from Sep.-Feb.
30+

Lots of holidays this time of year. I don't miss a weekend, use a lot if not all my vacation time and rarely miss at least an evening hunt during the week if I actually go to work.
30+... 1 day off per work week and then Saturday for 5 months or so of bowseason. One week of vacation during modern gun. I'll slack off around December and duck hunt more than deer hunt through mid-January, then usually get in a few more weeks of late-season bowhunting...
I only hunt about 4 mornings and anywhere from 3-5 afternoons a week... I only work 13 days a month ans its shift work so even when working nights I get to hunt the mornings. I am not going to hunt many if any weekends this year, wife went to work and thats our only time together..I think I'll survive
I hunt 30 plus. I work real close to Fort Chaffee. I get off work, drive like hell to my moms, take a shower and am in a tree in 45 minutes. I can hunt every day till time changes. Then its every weekend till I tag out.
I hunted 54 times times last year for deer. These include some hunts after work where I come in and rush out and sit in the stand for an hour or two and all day hunts too. I hunt 2 days/week the whole season, plus take some vacation/personal time, plus I try to manipulate my work schedule to give me a few hours before or after work. I really wish I had a 4 day work schedule instead of a 5. That would give me roughly 20 extra days a year.
If we get all the Hurricane damage and lights back on........

I know I'll have a minimum of 9 days Opening week...4 days at Thanksgiving and 9 days the 2nd week of December..........and if my Retirement paperwork gets approved......I may not work from the 2nd week of December until the end of the year to use up this years vacation:biggrin:

Don't know about the early ML season yet...may still be working:mad:

Then Jan 5, should be my last day, so that leaves the rest of Bow season...........if I have any tags left:biggrin::biggrin:
The only time I "hunt" all day is the week of "Deer Camp", before and after camp I hunt some almost everyday, it maybe an hour or two early and/or late or a few hours in the middle of the day. During muzzleloader or rifle season the gun never leaves the truck and I'm in it on and off all day, here around the farms, so I'm kind'a always hunt'n, even when I'm do'n something else. I've got about as good a chance seeing deer sit'n in my yard or look'n out a window of my house or feed'n cows, as I do sit'n in a stand.
Since I hunt on my place it's hard to say how many days I hunt. I hardly ever hunt all day, usually half days and sometimes only an hour or two at a time, depending on success. I'd go every day if I could just to watch the critters, the leaves falling and listen to the river running over the shoals. :thumb: I don't like for my hunting season to end and try to stretch it out as long as I can.
Last year I was able to get out just over 50 times. I'm hoping to do more this year though, unless I tag out early :)
I usually get my limit in the first 2 or 3 days. I've even limited out in the 10 minutes once. Could have a couple other times.
usually take off 3 weeks for deer season. 1 week for bow and 2 for rifle and i hunt most of the weekends trying to get my wife and kids a deer.
I get 6 weeks a year vacation, 5 of em are spent during deer season!

I hope it all works out cause ole buddy I "KNOW" you have earned it! Come visit me around New London when you get to that "Milestone"
30 or more days here. As long as it takes. I work nights traveling around doing Wal-Mart remodels. They don't allow any work to be done during the holiday season from Sept-Jan, so I have to do something to keep myself out of mischef. I just got this job earlier this year, I sure hope it works out. We have to finish a large remodel in Rogers, should be done about the first week of October, this is a exception to the rule, that store is special.
