Guy brought the gun by today and it was a pistol not the carbine:mad:.

Didn't get it. Even for $100 I didn't want a 9mm pistol. If it had been a 40 I probably would have taken it.

Go get it I'll give ya $125.00 for it!
It was in pretty rough shape. I know that hi-point will fix them, but I don't think i would have taken a single shot with that the way it looked. Not worth the hassle IMO.
So it was one of them drop in stocks? I don't think I'd feel real comfortable with one of them myself. I don't know how they go together but I would always worry about barrel alignment.
Heck of a note to get your anticipation built up then to have your bubble burst.
Yep. He said he had a freind with a 40 cal. carbine, but knows I can't get it for $100. Anybody know what they're going for these days.

BTW. I'll be going through Russellville tomorrow to spend a few days nursing my dad (from the hip replacement). Where is that good gun shop at?
What's the drop in stock possum.

Don't quote me on this but I think that you can find the carbines for $200-$250, but I may be wrong on this. I came across one on gunbroker.com the other day and it was going for $200. I think Fort Thompson's over in Sherwood carries them.

Where is Fort Thompson?
Just about a mile or so North of McCain Mall on the access road.

A-1 Pawn (more of a hunting store than pawn shop) and Rush Sporting Goods.

Where are they at?
Where are they at?
A-1 Pawn - Take the 1st R'ville exit coming from Conway (I think, it is the one with the Love's gas station), take a left over the overpass, then you will come to a stoplight at a T, take a right and it will be down there a little ways on the right. It will have a big Browning sign on the building.

Rush Sporting Goods - Take the AR Tech exit, take a left to the overpass, you will pass Tech and it is a couple block further on the right. From A-1, take a right out of the parking lot. You will go over another overpass for the railroad. At the next stoplight, take a right and Rush will be up there on the left.

Sorry I can't remember road names. It has been a year since I have been up there.
I may be wrong but it looks to me like it's designed to just drop the pistol in.

Possum those are a conversion for the carbine. It is to make the Hi-Point carbine look more like a Beretta Storm.
Looked to me like it was made to put the pistol in. I like what your saying much better.
Got a tumbler today at Sportsman's warehouse in Rogers. Had them on clearance for $34. I'm just falling into good deals today.
