Went fishing tonight on a bay off the river trying to find some clear water. Trolling motor on high. Hit a stump with the boat and got hung up on it. Had to use the big motor to back off of it. Went on and started seeing a few carp. Turned around and saw about 3" of water in the boat. Turned on bilge pumps and they were barely dropping the level. Decided I'd better get the boat on the trailer while it was still floating. On the way out I looked at the stump I ran up on. It had 3 pieces of rebar drove into it. Couldn't even see the stump. Tied a coke bottle to it to mark it for the next guy.
