Heard of a few groups knocking down a few limits in Cutoff. Not sure about the validity of reports but I'm sure if it's true that place will be packed out the rest of season. With that area in mind my question is...what has happened to Seven Devils over the last decade? As a kid I remember birds being in there so thick you couldnt set another one on the water. Seems as though that place has just died over the last few years.

Pretty much BS. Shoot a few right at daylight if u can work them between wood duck volleys. Blue skies after 830 or so.

Sounds to me like your reporter is trying to get u in another direction

it has to b a ton of ducks in the area and they have to b shooting them out in cutoff and i no there ant enough ducks around there for that to b happening this year!! but like u said its nothing like it used to b!!!

Here is some validation. Hunted it saturday and today. Saw about 100 saturday and prolly 50 today. One group shot there limit this morning. But I wouldnt call them a group I would call them a pair. 8 Mallards. Yeah it's gonna get good in there but I can promise you this. BM will get ducks before it does.

Several vollies in Cutoff the last few days. Today there was some good rounds. It will get really good, probably in about 2 weeks.
7 devils has went to the crapper. AGFC hasn't done much. The boat lane is coffee beans, so it's wide open or your motor is wound up with trash. All to shoot a woodie and merganser. That place needs some TLC X 40-11.

It would get a lot better if that guy that owns the 60 acres rite at the boat ramp would sell the land to the G&F so they could spend that couple million on the new damn there supposedly raised the money for 8 years ago!!!
