there is a chance i will be moving to bull shoals and i see that crooked creek is very good for sm mouth bass pan fish. i have no boat but was thinking of an inflatable pontoon or a float tube.. what i wanted to know is there places where you could put in on the river float down stream and have a pick service pick you up and take you back to where you started from. that sounds like a very nice way to fish. take in the sights catch some fish sip on a few cold soda or whatever you like. i would like to own my own tube or what ever i get as to renting one. if there is a service do you have any idea what the cost might be ?

I try to float Crooked Creek at least once a year, but I have a buddy from another part of the state meet me there and we do our own shuttling.
I dont know of any services on the creek, but you might be able to find something. If you dont have any luck, you might ask the folks at the Carlton-Marion Hotel in Yellville.
From Kelly's Slab to the city park in Yellville is a nice short float that ought to be nice for a tube. I want to say it's 2.5 miles. If you take your time and fish it carefully, you'll catch fish out of every inch of it.
