Tubes, TRD and small worms are all great creek baits, but don't forget small topwaters like a baby Spook or Tiny Torpedo. 1/8 oz spinnerbaits are killers at times and never it a creek without..

I waded and floated Fourche one time from a neighbors farm down to Middlebrook bridge and caught 74 smallmouth in 4 hours on a gold R9 and after I lost it a gold R7 Rapala. Biggest was 3.5 lbs. Most of them were small but it was a blast. Some of the creeks I used to wade when I was young don't have enough water anymore to grow fish.

In the Creek or River is not Trespassing...
Now when you step out of the creek your Trespassing..
creeks private property in Arkansas?

The public has the right to use a stream in Arkansas if it is navigable. Both commercial and recreational use is considered in determining navigability. However, landowners on a navigable stream have the right to prohibit the public from crossing their property to reach the stream.

10+ years ago I asked an Arkansas GW about this. His reply was something along the lines of, any waterway that is deemed non-navigable cannot be accessed even in the water without landowner permission. Keep in mind this a while back, things could have changed. Also, I don't know of a list of waterways classifying them as navigable and non-navigable.

If I run my boat up the Red River as far as I can in my boat and get out, stay in the Stream am I trespassing? No...
As long as that waterway is determined to be navigable it is covered under the jurisdiction of the Corps of Engineers.

Navigable waters means all lakes, rivers, and streams, which can support a vessel capable of carrying one or more persons during a total of six months in one out of every ten years.

interesting, where did you get that? always wondered why crooked creek was floated butt Janes Creek or maybe Martin creek was not…south fork of the spring river is but other smaller creeks aren’t. The navigable list of rivers was not as broadly defined as this an few years ago…
