I'm looking for a fishing guide on lake conway for crappie.

Most of the time you can get into some good fishing there at 89 bridge. But I have not fished Conway in about 10 years. But I have just move back to NLR

Don't wast your time at 89. Try gold creek or caney creek.

We are going in the morning to try conway out. Going to Gold Creek. We're not crappie fishermen but gonna give it a shot. Any tips would be great. Minnows or jigs?

I'm getting burned out on duck hunting already. I'm taking some days off in january to go bc I spend too much money on it to not go...but in all honesty, it could end next weekend and not hurt my feelings, I'm ready for spring fishing

A guy I know was catching them 5 feet deep around the 89 bridge on a pink/white marabou jig tipped with a minnow, then later that day caught them a little shallower in gold creek around cypress on black/chartreuse. Of course it has gotten colder since then, that was the day after Christmas

I went to Conway today and only got one. Boys are saying we going back in the am, hope we do better. There was some leaving with fish when got there but not miney

Go early to Gold Creek or Art's Pond. But mainly go early.

Got skunked in Gold Creek Friday except for the 40-50 yellow bass lol. Where is Arts pond?

Never made it there. Gold creek was covered up with folks so we went to Atkins. It was the same. Tons of people and fishing is real slow. Didn't catch any. Gonna try somewhere tomorrow but not sure where yet. Conway or Atkins I imagine

Caught 2 decent crappie in Gold Creek this morning
