Here it is practically at the end of deer season and I have a little over 100lbs of corn left:smack: and was wondering if stored in dry place would it last till next season or will it ruin before them. Any help is appreciated...

just feed it to the deer, they could use the food anyways

In a dry place it may be ok..........but mice and rats might find it.

I say just feed the deer and give them some love back for the good times they gave you.:biggrin:

Beware! Corn can last a long time as long as it is kept dry but, the mice and other critters can find it and make a horrible mess! I know this from personal experience with six bags of corn in our deer cabin!:smack:

A little over 100 lbs.... 12 - 15 $$$ worth... Not worth the worry or hassle for storage when you average it over a year.... Give the deer a snack, and start again in 4 months....

I start feeding in april..... antler growing time....and feed until Jan.

Old freezer.
We keep our "feed" in an old freezer at camp.

Now I know what to do with an old freezer. If I could just figure out to do with old refridgerator, two old tvs, old computer, old piano, old microwave and an old lincoln continental!

We keep ours in individual 55 gal drums that have locking lids out in the barn. Haven't had any proplems as long as they've been sealed up, corn keeps for longer than we can store it too. But, we do try to feed 'em year round also.

If you store it you can put a shaved pine knot down in it and that will keep the bigs out...d2
