I am about to buy a new light for coon hunting, but I am not sure which one. Are the light weight models worth the price difference? I dont really want to carry 4-5 lbs around in the mountains... Opinions/recommendations please on a good buy....

check Coon Hunters Supply. We have the Cajun LED coon hunting Lights. We have the 21 Volt stringer+ with a LED Head and the LED bump cap light. Both are as bright as a 21 Volt light. The weight is about the same as a standard 21V belt light. and the cap light is about 1 1/2 lbs. I have tested the cap light for about a year it is a great light. I have been climbing under houses doing repairs and hunting with this light, frog hunting, setting decoys, going turkey hunting before daylight, and it has never gave me any problem.I am about to buy a new light for coon hunting, but I am not sure which one. x100:thumb:I've got a 21v Bright Eyes belt light and love it.:up:
I use a Sunspot and am very pleased. Quality shows in it.don't buy anything till you look at video of this light--> http://www.sunspothuntinglights.com/
I cant speak for all led's, but I bought my kids a crystal cs5 cap lite to share for Christmas. It is brighter than my Tejas 20 volt belt lite, no cords and heavy mess to deal with. I keep wanting to tell them to turn it down til I remember it on the lowest setting. The only thing is it throws a real tight beam. I gave 150.00, i feed after dark and its real convienant for things other than huntin too....I would like some advice on a good led light though. Anybody got any pointers?
Their made in Texas, butter just sells them in SearcyI used a bright eyes for a long time and replace it with a sunfire and loved it so much I bought my 7yr old son the sunspot. The sunspot is bright and has a beam like truck lights and the sunfire is I think the brightest light on the market right now and it has a tight beam. I don't know where your from but their made in Searcy AR and they will stand behind them 100% www.canecreekhuntingsupply.com/ it's worth looking into.
I own Sunspot lights. I'm from the searcy area and moved to Texas for work seven years ago. I have moved back to Mcrae Ar now. Butter has been helping me build them.Their made in Texas, butter just sells them in Searcy
