I could not believe this. I would believe I'd get bigfoot pics on my cam before this. I started hollering for my wife, and she came in here like something must be terribly wrong.

I'm taking a stance similar to the AGFC's stance on cougars... This probably someone's escaped pet. A lone jake? In Benton Co? Almost in the city limits of Rogers?:head:

I have been seeing 2 jakes and a gobbler for several months within the "city" limits of Little Flock (same as Rogers!) The first time I saw the gobbler only and was shocked to see one there but occasionally see the 2 jakes and just today saw the gobbler again! It is not an area I can hunt although I'll bet someone does work on them there. A game warden told me there had been a flock in that area for years. Steve/"Dermott"
Yeah, a neighbor had told me that they used to see them here.
Photoshop!

Tink, You think she excaped from a Tyson plant just before Thanksgiving? :fit:

I think it's a hoax! There no turkey up here!
I heard one shock gobble this morning. Hadn't seen any there in years. Thought I must of been hearing things. Look what I found on my camera.

Douglas - Great news! Except for seeing turkeys in person, seeing them on game cameras is the best. How long since you have had turkeys on your property -- you said "years" but how many? I really hope this is the beginning of a recovery on your property and elsewhere. Thanks, Steve
I found tracks in the snow last winter....
They were firmly 400 yds this side of the MO. line in Benton Co.....

I figure it strolled over to see if our acorns tasted better....but I put it in the same catergory as "Nessy" and Bigfoot....
But based on this account....maybe they do exist...????

I havent seen any on this property in at least 10 years. Maybe more.

Did you notice the date. It was truly a Christmas miracle.
