Hey guys. I just traded a buddy of mine for a Browning BPS. It only came with a skeet choke and Im planning on going on a snow goose hunt this year. What choke and shot combo would you guysl suggest. Ive been thinking about a Briley extended mod and full with Black Cloud BB. Ive also been looking at Kent Fasteel and Hevi-Metal in BB. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all the input guys. Is Pattern Master that much better than Carlson or Briley that its worth more than double the price? I can get a Mod and a Full Carlson or Briley for less than the cost of one Pattern Master. I dont mind spending the money. I just want to be sure that it is worth it. Also can I get by with only one choke if a get a Pattern Master? Again thanks for your input.

Patternmaster all the way! Not to mention my wife does all their graphic design work the last year! Been shooting them for 10 years and they are well worth the investment! Yes you can get away with just one. Either the extended or long range are perfect.

I agree with the guys above: Patternmaster makes a great, versatile choke. However, if you are planning on shooting Black Clouds, or any other Federal load that uses the "FlightControl" wad you may want to look at a Black-Cloud-specific choke. Those wads behave very differently.

I appreciate all yall's input. I have never been waterfowl hunting, but being stationed here in Arkansas I figure that I aught to take advantage of it. What I'm looking for in a choke is versatility. I plan on using it on snow geese this spring, but I would like to be able to use it for ducks next year. I know everyone has their favorite brands of shot, but what do you guys like and had the best luck with? I've read and it has been stated here that the “FlightControl” wad acts different than other wads, but will it preform out of a normal choke? Also if it won't then is it worth getting setup to shoot only Black Cloud? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm trying to get into water fowling. Thanks.
