Has anyone heard about chicot being drawed down 6ft starting July 1?

They do that every few years to allow for dock and shoreline maintenance don't they?

From what I heard from a biologist was the crappie numbers where way low but idk why drawing the lake down would help that, I only bass fish there and it seems like they would draw it down during the winter months, its kinda aggravating its one of the best places for numbers of bass than anywhere I've ever fished and I will hate of they do it

We have a tournament scheduled there in June. From what i've heard they are planning on drawing it down. Would be a good time to take pics and GPS points of those deeper docks!

The pics is a good ides I gotta lot of wave points marked but wish they would wait til winter to draw it down

yep, i saw that on a show with Rick Clunn once. He said he sets a video camera up to record on the deck of his boat then just slowly idles down the bank. I need to do that. We have several tournaments a year there and i need to learn which docks to fish in the summer. Drawing it down this time of year allows some weeds to grow and makes for some pretty good fishing the next spring/summer.
