There will be applications available for pickup on July 1st at the Cherokee Village City Hall. There will be 200 permits drawn, and there is a $35.00 fee to cover the insurance. The fee also gets you a membership in the Arkansas Bowhunters Association, I believe. The drawing will be held on July 31st. There will be no on-line registration for permits. At this time, they don't believe there will be any applications mailed out either. You'll have to go there and pick up you application. You will also have to complete the 8 hour International Bowhunter Education Foundation course, which will be held on August 23rd, and pass a bow shooting compentency test. Three arrows at 20 yards, I think.
