Does anyone have a map of the lease lands in the Cherokee WMA around Greers Ferry that they would like to share with the rest of us??

I don't want to spend $20.00 with GFC just to get a map of some place I may never hunt.

They have some maps online @ the agfc website you can download, for free

Be sure and find a "new" map, the timber companies have pulled a lot of land out of Cherokee WMA the last few years and put it up for private lease, there ain't near as much of it as there used to be. If the AGFC has one online it should be up to daye, but the maps that came with the permits, even from the last couple of years will be out of date.

Wal Mart use to give maps of Cherokee land. Just ask at the sports section.

If you're in the Heber area, also be aware of Jim Kress. I think they split some Cherokee, and now you have to have a permit for both of them. Either or doens't work anymore.

There are no maps on the GFC website for the Cherokee or Jim Kress properties.

GFC can spend millions per year on those #$%K#$% nature centers but they can't put together a decent set of maps for the properties they oversee.
