Be sure and find a "new" map, the timber companies have pulled a lot of land out of Cherokee WMA the last few years and put it up for private lease, there ain't near as much of it as there used to be. If the AGFC has one online it should be up to daye, but the maps that came with the permits, even from the last couple of years will be out of date.
If you're in the Heber area, also be aware of Jim Kress. I think they split some Cherokee, and now you have to have a permit for both of them. Either or doens't work anymore.
