I know we discuss this on a fairly regular basis and Stealthy always says it illegal. Im not saying it is or it aint, just asking if anyone knows for sure.

    Cut/paste from the Regs:

    General Regulations

People 16 and older must have a valid license to hunt or fish in Arkansas.
You may hunt wildlife only during an open season for that species.
If a species is not discussed in a current copy of the Arkansas Hunting Guidebook, there is no open season for that species. (example: It is illegal to shoot a snake, because there is no season listed.)

Agfc says if there ain't a season for it you can't kill it. From what I've heard and understand.

Now, I've argued this with my AGFC Biologist buddy right and left. I say that Hogs fall into this. They say "shoot 'em". I say "OK, then regulate them. If you don't want to regulate them, however, don't talk to me about them at all.".... He has no answer.

Same with Mt. Lions. I asked directly the AGFC Pub Relations Officer what would happen if I shot a Mt. Lion and dropped it on the steps of the AGFC HQ in Little Rock. He said, and I quote "I guess you'd have a big problem with the person that owned that Mt. Lion"....
