Just wondering if it is only archery for coyote or if you could use modern gun... Thanks.
On private land you can use anything during coyote season. On WMAs a few have weapons restrictions but for most you can hunt coyote with rifles during any open coyote season.
From what I understand, you can hunt WMAs after modern gun deer season with rimfires and shotguns with T shot or smaller. Like 7413 said, on private land, you can use centerfire rifles .30 caliber and smaller. Shotguns are limited to T shot and smaller state wide unless hunting during a modern gun deer season.
No, you can use high powered stuff during any open coyote season (including during bow deer season) unless that WMA has a specific restriction or some WMAs are closed to all hunting except those with deer quota permits during modern gun. . Check the general furbearer hunting part of the agfc guidebook. Coyote and Deer seasons are totally separate issues.
Thanks for the clarification 7413.
Thanks guys....I'm gonna go smoke a few tomorrow...
