Hunted from daylight to 1 and didn't see anything. Anybody had any luck out there
Sorry camp Robinson
Got it fixed for ya. :thumb:
Was out there last week squirrel hunting, saw nine deer. Three bucks, six does, they are grouped back up. Saw a dozen scrapes that had been worked in the last couple of days. Find the thick stuff with food nearby and you will see deer.
Spent Sat & Sun afternoon out there and didn't see a thing except a bunch of tree rats.
i seen 8 sunday while trying to find some hogs
Thanks. I will be back out there Thursday for sure and maybe tmw evening. Been hunting a place that has 7 or 8 pretty recent rubs. But it could be going on at night. But I will keep at it.
Unless the rubs are near a bedding area they may not be as succesful as they would be early season. This time of year most deer want to expend the least energy possible finding the best/closest food source before returning to their bedding area. My best advice for late season hunting, would be find the food sources!
Ive been seeing a lot of sign; however, 5 hunts in 3 stands with a perfect wind and 0 deer durring the daylight hours. I see plenty driving out though. So much food they dont have to move far to find it.
