Over the past few days Coyote hunting it seems like that is the only thing i can call in are crows. :down: Maybe I'm reading too far into it but does that mean anything? :head: I made 3 stands today and had crows (4-6) come in on 2 of them. Exact same thing yesterday.

If this keeps up I might get some crow decoys and just go crow hunting

While in Hardy, I called about a dozen crows in on one hunt. Then my next stand, I called in 4 or 5 buzzards. Made a stand around the house the other day and called in 3 hawks. Guess they are all looking for an easy meal. Not my first time with Hawks or crows. But, a first for buzzards.

I tell ya what Ruger, if I call in a buzzard, it will be a dead buzzard. I swear those are one of the ugliest creatures the good Lord created. I was itching to take one of those crows on my last stand but they were out around 300 and I am still learning the gun. (not a big fan of the scope on there at all!)

A buzzed is a 30 point violation. Also known as hunting in a closed season because there is no buzzard season. Not tryin to bust your bubble on killin one but just letting you know somethin I found out the hard way when I was young. Along with that 30 point violation is a 3 year license suspension, big fine, and if he wants to be a d**k, he can take your guns and truck. And you ain't always where nobody can find you. I thought that when I got caught. Just my .02

Just tryin to help. It's a definite learning experience to go thru somethin like that. But if there isn't a season on it in the book, its a closed season.

I called 1 in this morning before it warmed up but I could never get a shot. Its def different than deer hunting. You HAVE to be ready for a quick shot!!! I wont make that mistake in the morning

made two stands Thursday morning. Really good spots but thousands of geese were flying low and loud. Guess they spooked the kiotes.

Waking up to frost covering everything I was in high spirits of doing some calling. However my wife found a giant tick in our daughters hair and INSISTED I take her to the doc cause she didnt get the head out. Just as i figured, the doc gave her a clean bill of health but by that time it was too late to take her to daycare.

Cant wait till shes old enough to take with me
