he was a legend, incredible instinctive longbow shooter

 

Wow! What a hero of mine in my younger days. Such a class act and amazing shot. RIP

 

He was fun to watch

 

I know Fred and Ben...sorry. Never heard of the deceased.

I never became the arrow. I became the spot between me and my target when I used a bow.

 

I bought one of his books when I was learning to shoot a recurve.

 

Enjoyed watching him. Incredible shot and steward of the sport.

 

He was absolutely amazing with a bow. He should be thought of right up there with Howard Hill, Fred Bear and Ben Pearson.
