Attention all coon hunters there will be buddy hunt in Carthage, Ar Feb 4th, most coons take all , also there will be a treeing contest , and food and added purse to the cash prize. There isnt any big comp hunts aroubd that weekend so everyone come out ! Is it going to Pay 80-20 or 60-40 for first and second. Or is it gonna be a winner take all buddy hunt?

Rules as I understand them from the past:
You can hunt anything and go anywhere you want to hunt. Just pay a entry fee for every dog that you are going to hunt that night. No limit on how many you can hunt, as long as you pay them up. If you and your partner and all dogs entered are not present at deadline then your scratched. I have been to one buddy hunt where they gave the money to the winner, but he showed up without partner and a dog and he still ran off with the cash. These guys are all honest and straight up. The right person will carry the cash home.

You got it. The best part is watching them boys come in sideways at deadline time. You can hear them coming usually if they think they have a good chance at the pot.

I'd like to get a pot up for the heaviest coon that night if enough are interested in it. I don't got the honey hole that some of them boys got. But, I feed my coons real good year round! :wink:

Hunt doesn't have anything to do with any kennel clubs. You can bring a poodle and enter in the treeing contest or the hunt if your bold enough.
