I have just spent the last few weeks converting my 5 x 8 cargo trailer into a "sleeping pod" complete with AC. I call it the buck wagon. It ain't the fanciest camper in the world, but it's better than a tent, and I like it better than my $7000.00 pop up camper because I don't have to worry about the rain or tearing the thing up. The back wall comes out and the bed breaks down allowing me to still store my 4 wheeler and generator in the trailer. I'm looking forward to trying it out. Hopefully get to go to camp this next weekend for the maiden voyage.

What is the height on it? Can you stand upright in it to get dressed? I sure like the idea and the way it looks. :thumb:

Unfortunately, you can't stand all the way up in it. I had to work with what I had. I originally bought the trailer to haul my daughter's softball team's equipment. If I was going to start from scratch, I would start with a trailer that's at least 6 feet wide and at least 10 feet long with a side door and tall enough to stand up in.

Thinks elh! I was giving some serious thought to a unit that could be slippd on and off of a trailer that I have but worried I would end up with to much weight on the trailer.
Anyway it is something to think about. :thumb:
