I am still bow hunting a little off and on. I am curious, if I shoot a deer thinking it is a doe and it turns out to be a buck that has already shed his rack, how do I tag him? He wouldn't be a button buck because obviously, there aren't buttons sticking up. Just not sure what I would have to put on the tag. Anyone have any experience in this?

BA, or is it AB. "You better be sure" Is what I've been told.

Ok then mark your tag unantlered male deer

If you're still hunting, you're hunting with a bow. That being the case you should be able to tell if the deer has two holes on it's head.

But I've asked a game warden the same question before and was told antlered buck.

Just shoot a antlered deer less confusing that way
