I went out to Chaffee for an evening hunt on one of the food plots and I saw 4 deer. Three of them were does and one was a buck and he was grunting and chasing them around the food plot. It was very entertaing even tho I couldn't get a shot off. I had noticed that there were some new scrapes in the area but I didn't expect to see that. Anyone else ever see them chasing this late?

I hunted in Sharp Co. yesterday. I thought it would be a great day to hunt. It was in the 30's overcast and slight wind. I saw nothing. I did see a fresh scrape in an area that has had a lot of scrapes though. With that kind of weather, my Garmin saying it was a good feeding day, sitting on a pretty green food plot and this storm system coming I was expecting a bonanza!

They should be hitting the food plots. I hunted on yesterday evening as well and saw 5 does. They were all out of my comfort zone, about 45 yards out. They haven't been coming out until 5:00 or later. Today it was 5:30 when they came out.

Two weeks ago I had two small bucks fighting on camera. I also had new rubs showing up and had two nice bucks on camera hitting scrapes. They disappeared last week but one showed back up two nights ago and hit the scrape. I have six bucks on camera in past three weeks and all still have both antlers. Last year all the bucks had dropped by now.

I am really hoping to get a shot at one of the two legal ones I have on camera!

Checked my cameras this morning, had several shooter bucks fighting in the middle of the corn pile. By the looks of my pics some of the deer in grant co are still chasing too!!! Several does blurred out running in front of camera with the next pic being a buck with his nose on the ground in hot pursuit.
