Glad I took the shot with my Canon...Turned out my doe after zooming in turned into a small spike
Cool pic! I wonder how many that size got shot this year.
Awesome pic with great color. I miss the leaves, won't see them for a while now, SNOW:banghead:
awesome pic. he would have eat good. :hide:
Man thats a great pic! Looks like magazine quality.
I want the snow, I'm tired of the leaves.
I love the pic
Nice pic. That little joker's got a potbelly on him too.
right! and he ain't got no doe neck either. that is not this years fawn.
nice picture......by the looks of him he's 2yrs or better.
less than 2 inchs of hard bone, he would have been dead and in the deep freeze with a buck tag on him if he stop to pose like that for me.
Um umm Good:up:
Very neat pic
that is exactly closer to the age I was thinking. He's certainly not this years fawn and he's to thick to be last years fawn. My guess is 2 1/2 years old. Secondly, his tarsals are darker than they ought to be for a yearling. He's been rut'n.
He had you pegged didn't he? How long did he stand there looking at you?
I was walking down the trail coming back from my tree stand that morning...I stopped and took a few pictures of him and he just stood there and watched even after I kept on walking. Guess he thought he was safe since there was still some leaves on
I've never seen a 2.5 year old deer with horns that small....I'm guessing 1.5....
X2 he's just real healthy youngin'
